In this article, you'll learn how to set up your business hours, adjust your time zone and hour format, and update your hours when needed. If you're using existing calendars, we'll show you how to sync them so you can manage all your appointments in one place.
Business Settings
To change your business settings:
- Open the platform.
- Click Settings.
- Select Availability & Calendar.
- Under the Business settings tab, enter your availability.
- Click the Save button at the top to finish.
- Open the platform
- Click Calendar.
- Click the settings icon
at the top.
- Select Business settings.
- Start week on: By default, we set the first day of the week based on your country's convention. For example, in Europe or the US, the week starts on Monday. This setting impacts both your online scheduler and business calendar display.
- My business is local, display all times for staff and clients in my own time zone: By default, your calendar adjusts to your client’s time zone. If you're a local business serving only local clients, you can check the box to display availability in your local time. If you offer remote services, leave the box unchecked.
Content Display
Content display refers to how you want the calendar to be shown.
To change the content display on your calendar:
- Open the platform.
- Click Settings.
- Select Availability & Calendar.
- Click the Content display tab.
- After you finished adjusting your options, click the Save button on top of the page.
- Open the platform
- Click Calendar.
- Click the settings icon
at the top.
- Select Content Display.
General Availability
The default schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can customize these times to match your business's availability.
To adjust your availability:
- Open the platform and
- Click Settings.
- Select Availability & Calendar.
- Click the General availability tab.
- Optional: Toggle the dates you want to be available for.
- Optional: Click the trash icon
to delete a day from your schedule.
- Click the the edit icon
to adjust the time for each day.
- Click the Update button when finished.
- Open the platform.
- Click Calendar.
- Click the settings icon
at the top.
- Select General Availability.
Staff Member Availability
Staff members can view and update their own availability.
To change a staff member's availability:
- Open the platform.
- Click on Settings.
- Choose Staff from the menu.
- Select the staff member whose availability you’d like to update.
- Click on Advanced.
- Go to the My Schedule tab.
- Optional: If you'd like to add a new time slot, click Add time slot then click Add when you're done.
- Click the edit icon to make changes.
- Adjust the times as needed.
- Click Update to save your changes.
Date-Specific Availability
Date-specific availability lets you make temporary changes for one-time events. The time slots you create or remove here will only apply once and won’t repeat weekly.
To update your availability on a specific date:
- Open the platform.
- Click Calendar.
- Click the date you want to make changes to.
- Select Edit specific availability.
- On the side of the page, adjust the hours as needed.
- Click Update when finished.
Block Off Time
If you need to block off time for any reason, simply use the "Block off time" option.
To block off time:
- Open the platform.
- Click Calendar.
- Click on the date you want to block off.
- Select Block off time.
- Adjust the details for your blocked time.
- Click Save when finished.
Sync your Google or Outlook Calendar
When your private calendar is synced, events marked as busy will block off time on your business calendar. This prevents double-bookings, but clients won’t see your personal busy time.
To sync your calendar with the platform:
- Open the platform.
- Click Settings.
- Select Availability & Calendar.
- Click the Calendar sync tab.
- Connect your Google or Outlook calendar.
- Optional: Import or export your preferences to or from Google or Outlook.
- Click Sync to finish.
- Open the platform.
- Click Calendar.
- Click the settings icon
at the top.
- Select Calendar Sync.
