Add internal notes to client cards, payments, and appointments to keep important details in one place. Notes are only visible to your team and can help with staying organized. 

Add a Note to a Client Card

To add a note to a client card:

  1. Open the platform
  2. Click Clients.
  3. Select a client.
  4. Click the Notes tab.
  5. Click the Add Note button.
  6. Type in the details of your note.
  7. Click Save.

Add a Note to a Payment

To add a note to a payment:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Sales.
  3. Click Payments Received.
  4. Click on a payment.
  5. Under Internal Note, click Add Note.
  6. Type in the details of your note.
  7. Click Save.

Add a Note to an Appointment

To add a note to an appointment:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Calendar.
  3. Click an appointment.
  4. Under Internal Note, click Add Note.
  5. Type in the details of your note.
  6. Click Save.

Edit or Remove a Note

To edit or remove a note:

  1. Hover over the note.
  2. Click the more options icon.
  3. Select either View/Edit or Remove.
  4. Click Save for edits or OK to confirm removal.

View Team Notes

To view notes added by your team, you’ll need the right permission enabled. Once that’s set, you’ll be able to see any notes your team have added.

To see view team notes:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Roles & Permissions.
  4. Click the role to edit.
  5. Under the "Clients" dropdown, check the Access all client activities box.
  6. Click Save.

FAQ

Why does the toolbox cover the first line when I add a note and how can I fix it?

This usually happens when your browser zoom is too high. Try zooming out by pressing Ctrl + Minus (-) on Windows or Cmd + Minus (-) on Mac to fix the view.

Can I export my notes?

Yes. While there's no direct export option in the platform just yet, our support team can help you out.
