Manage Your Product List

Create a list of products you sell so you can add them in estimates and invoices. This way, you can keep all your items in one place and update them whenever you need, making managing your products simple.

Add Products

You can start adding products by going to the Product Settings page.

To add products:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Products.
  4. Click Add Products.
  5. Enter the details of your product.
  6. Click Save.

Import Products

If you haven’t added products yet and have a long list, importing them with a spreadsheet can save time. You can use the platform’s template or your own but make sure it includes the required details for a smooth upload.

To import products:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Products.
  4. Click Import Products.
  5. Optional: Click Download template.
  6. Enter your product details in the spreadsheet file.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Upload.
  9. Select your spreadsheet file.
  10. Click Import.

Edit Product

To edit a product:

  1. On the Products page, click the more options icon image.pngbeside the product.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Edit your product details.
  4. Click Save.

Delete a Product

To delete a product

  1. On the Products page, click the more options icon image.pngbeside the product.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Click OK.

Clone Product

Cloning is a great option if you have similar products. When you clone a product, you'll just need to update the SKU to make it unique.

To clone a product:

  1. On the Products page, click the more options icon image.pngbeside the product.
  2. Click Clone.
  3. Enter a different product SKU.
  4. Optional: Edit your product details.
  5. Click Save.

Hide a Product from the List

Hiding a product is helpful for seasonal items or products that are temporarily out of stock. This lets you remove the product from the list in estimates and invoices until you're ready to make it available again.

To hide a product:

  1. On the Products page, click the more options icon image.png beside the product.
  2. Click Hide from list.
Note: Hidden products will appear as a hidden icon in the image.

FAQ

Can products be scheduled as appointments on the calendar?

No, products can’t be scheduled as appointments.

Is there a character limit for product descriptions?

No limit. You can use as much space as you need. The description might get cut off in the estimate or invoice, but your client can download the PDF to see all the details.

Can I edit the price or description of a product for a specific estimate or invoice?

Yes, you can edit the product as you normally would. Make sure to uncheck the box if you only want the changes to apply to that specific estimate or invoice.

Can I add products priced at $0 to packages?

No, products need to have a price to be added to a package.
