How to use Bank ACH Payments

ACH (Automated Clearing House) is a secure way for your customers to pay directly from their bank account in the United States. When you enable bank transfer payments, you'll benefit from lower fees and each transfer includes account and fund validation for extra security.

Note: ACH payments can vary in timing and may take 7-10 business days to fully process, appearing as pending until completed.

Enable ACH Payments

Before clients can pay with their bank, you’ll need to enable this option first and be connected to either Stripe or Payments by vcita to qualify for ACH payments.

To enable ACH payments:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Click  Sales.
  4. Under Bank Payments, check Enable bank payments.
Important: Before enabling ACH, review your terms and fees with your payment provider. 

Pay with ACH at Checkout

Clients can pay with their bank during checkout.

To pay with ACH: 

  1. Go to the Client Portal.
  2. Click Make a Payment or payment link.
  3. Enter the payment details.
  4. Click Checkout.
  5. Select Bank Payment.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Enter the bank details.
  8. Click Pay.
