Sync Your Google Calendar

Tired of juggling multiple calendars and double-booking appointments? Unify your schedule and streamline your workflow by syncing your Google Calendar with your app calendar.

Getting Started with Google Calendar Sync

The initial sync process may take up to 24 hours. During this time, some of your calendar items may not be available. The initial sync includes calendar items from both the past 30 days and the next 2 years. For your convenience, you can choose to schedule the sync during non-working hours.

Important: Make sure to use a laptop or desktop computer for the initial 2-way sync. Mobile devices are not currently supported.

To sync your calendars:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Calendar.
  3. Under "Synced Calendar", click Connect.
  4. Next to Google Calendar, click Connect.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Log in to your Google account.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. Click Allow.
  9. Check the Google calendars you want to impact your availability.
  10. Optional: Click the toggle button to keep your external (Google) calendar private.

  1. Click Next.
  2. Keep the toggle button enabled to export your Google calendar. Click to skip the export.
  3. Select the calendar to export your platform calendar to. (Main Calendar is recommended)
  4. Optional: Click the toggle button to only display part of your clients' names on the calendar, such as Jane D. for Jane Doe.
  5. Click Sync.
  6. Choose Sync now or Schedule for 1:00am.

Tip: Google Calendar's default setting for "All Day" events is "Free" time, so change it to "Busy" to block it off on your app calendar.

Creating a New Calendar

If you choose to create your calendar as a new calendar rather than syncing to your main calendar, this may result in double bookings (Bookings won't sync as "Busy" on your main calendar). You'll need to share your new calendar with anyone you want to see it.

If you're viewing your calendar from a Mac or iPhone, make sure the exported calendar is also selected on your device.

Important: You can only change calendar items on the calendar you used to create them. If you want to change an appointment booked via the app, use the app.  If you want to change a Google event, it needs to be changed on Google calendar.
