Tips to resetting your vcita password
Sometimes, trying to manage passwords can be somewhat of a daunting task. Nowadays, you either need a password manager or try to remember amongst all the information you take in daily. At the moment you find yourself not able to access your vcita account, we have a few tips to help you get reconnected with your business.
Retyping your password - with a little help
When typing out your password, you can miss a letter or two or you may have caps lock enabled without realizing it. Either way, it is important to ensure you are using the right password to access vcita. We have implemented an option to show/hide your password on the login screen to ensure you are entering your information correctly.
If your password is still incorrect with this flow, you may want to click on Forget Password and enter the email you used to register with vcita.
Do you still have your activation email?
A great way to access your account and update your password is going to be through your activation email. Depending on when you started vcita, you may still have your activation email in your inbox or maybe you saved it in a folder within your inbox. If you do have it, you can click on the “Yes, it’s Me!” and you should be able to open your account.
From there, you will want to go into Settings > Staff > Click on your profile > click Advanced and then change your password on your my profile tab.
If your password is updated - We'll keep you notified
Mistakes can happen from time to time, especially if you and your colleague are hard at work between accounts and someone mistakenly updates their password on the wrong profile. If this happens and you were not the one to change it, we have added two different emails to let you know if your password, or your email, to your account, has been changed. These emails will be sent to your email that is connected to your vcita account (make sure to check spam or junk if it hasn't hit your inbox).
Using the login with a code option
If all else fails, you also have the option to reset your password with a code. A code will be generated and sent to your email if the email you are using is registered with your vcita account.
When you go to log in to vcita, you should have the option to click on a tab titled Login with Code. You will then enter the email address that you have registered with vcita. You should then receive a code in your email (check your spam or junk folder) to use to login into your account
