Online Booking Restrictions
With online booking restrictions, you can better control who is allowed to schedule with you. You can restrict bookings to existing clients only, and on all compatible services offered or specific services.
When booking restriction is enabled, existing clients will be required to login before they can schedule.
Note: restrictions apply to new clients (those who do not yet exist in your client list or who have new/potential clients status), and for 1 on 1 services only.
Enabling Booking Restrictions
To enable booking restrictions by default in your account for all services:
- Go to Settings > Online Booking Options
- Under Online Scheduling, check the box for Online scheduling is restricted for new clients (requires client login)
Tip: once enabled in your account, you can toggle this feature off/on for specific services if required.
Booking Restrictions Per Service
Note: Service level restrictions is a Platinum feature. Click here to view our plans and pricing page.
- Go to Settings > My Services > [click on a service]
- In the Service Info section, under Online booking service menu, check the box for Online scheduling is restricted for new clients (requires client login)
- Click the Save button.
When a service is set to restricted, a padlock icon appears on the service under Settings > My Services.
Note: If enabled in a specific service, it will be enabled in the Online Booking Options settings page, but only applying to the service where it was enabled.
If this feature is later disabled in the Online Booking Options settings, after previously being enabled, it will be disabled for all services as well, including those where it was specifically enabled.
