How do I make a form or client field required?
There are some things about your clients that you just have to know! You can make any client field in your client card required.
Scheduling, Payment, Leave Details Forms
- Navigate to Settings > Client Card.
- In the Client Fields tab, click on the field you want to make mandatory.
- Check the Required checkbox.
- Click Save to save your changes.
- The field will now be a required field on all the forms it appears on.
Note: Some fields, like Email, will be required by default. You don't need to make them required, nor can you switch them to optional.
Service-Specific Intake Forms
- Navigate to Settings > My Services.
- Edit the service that the intake form is for and scroll to the Client Intake Form section.
- Click Add/Edit to add a field or edit an existing one.
- Check the Required checkbox.
- Click Save and then Save again at the top of the service page to save your changes! This field will now be a required field on this form.
Note: If you have the same service-specific intake form question on multiple forms in multiple services, you will need to repeat the above steps for the other services as well. Making the question required here will not update it for all services.
