My Client is Seeing the Wrong Time Zone During Scheduling
If your business is set to adjust based on the client time zone, vcita will automatically detect the geo-location of the client and display your booking timeslots in their time zone.
vcita detects your client's timezone based on the location settings of the device which they used to book. The following factors can affect which time zone is read:
- Incorrect location settings on the device being used to book.
- Your client is traveling across time zone or is in a different time zone than usual.
- Your client is using a VPN (common when on a work network).
- Clients who were imported without timezone information default to the business timezone.
If the time zone is incorrect for any of the above reasons, the client can click on Change to select their preferred time zone. You should also update the client in your Clients list with the right timezone information.
