An Appointment Disappeared From My Calendar
vcita does not automatically remove confirmed appointments from your calendar for any reason.
It's very likely that the appointment was an unconfirmed appointment request. Unconfirmed requests are considered expired at the start time of the proposed appointment and they are removed from your calendar. You can identify an unconfirmed request on the calendar by the dotted outline around the appointment. In the appointment details, the status will be 'Pending Approval'.
Depending on your online booking policy, clients can reschedule and cancel their own appointments - that means an appointment may have moved or been removed from the calendar. Check the Needs Your Attention folder in your Inbox for new updates, or check the client's conversations.
If an appointment is reassigned to a different staff member, it will be removed from your calendar. You will get a notification email regarding the reassignment if the "Re-Assigned to Other Staff" Email Template is turned on.
To find the template, go to Email Template Settings and scroll down the Business-facing "Appointments" templates.
Click on the template called "Re-Assigned to Other Staff", and check the box called "Send his email" to turn the template on.
