How do clients make online payments?
With the platform, your clients can pay their invoices online, during scheduling, on your online widgets, client portal, or by simply clicking a button on your website. You can even send an SMS payment request to your client for easy payment.
Make sure you have online payments set up and enabled on your account and customize your payment intake form before you start accepting client payments.
When you issue an invoice, your client will receive an email (and SMS, depending on your settings), notifying them of the new invoice. They have the option to pay the invoice right from the notification.
View and Pay Pending Payment Requests
Lose track of an email? No problem. Your account keeps a record of all outstanding invoices and payment requests on the client's very own client portal. Clients can view them and make payments by logging into their client portal.
- Once logged in, click on Payments to view outstanding payment requests.
- Click the Pay Now button to pay any outstanding requests OR start a new payment by clicking the + button in the lower right-hand corner. This will bring up the payment form.
After payment has been made, the business will receive a payment notification in the inbox as well as via email and SMS, depending on your settings.
If you have Stripe or Square account connected, you will find the transaction ID linked to the payment so that you can easily locate the associated payment in your Stripe or Square account.
