Accept Payments in Installments

Note: You can only accept partial payments if you have a credit card processor connected: either Stripe or Square.

You may allow your clients to make partial payments on invoices, and even set a minimum amount.

To enable partial payments:

Start in your vcita dashboard and navigate to Settings > Payments.
Switch to the Invoices and Estimates tab and scroll down to the Partial Payments section.
Select the Enable partial payments checkbox.
If you want to specify a minimum partial payment, select the checkbox and specify the minimum percentage. The minimum payment is calculated as a percentage of the invoice total.

Partial payments can only be paid on invoices. Appointments which are paid upfront at booking, for example, must be paid in full.

Client-Side View

At checkout, your client will be able to select whether to pay in full or pay a partial amount.
