Set Preparation Time Between my Appointments
You can allow for preparation, drive/travel time or any type of padding prior to an appointment in your service settings.
Note: Prep time is added before the appointment, not after.
To set prep time:
- From your vcita dashboard, navigate to Settings > My Services
- Click on the service to edit its settings and scroll down to the Duration and Availability section.
- Select the amount of prep time you will need from the dropdown.
- Click on Save to save your changes.
Note: For the 20-minute service in the example, if there is only 20 minutes available in the calendar, the time slot will not be available for booking, because it does not allow for the 5 minute prep time.
