Getting Paid Online

Offer smooth and secure online payment methods to give your clients flexibility and convenience with customized forms and clear calls to action.

Sending Payment Links

Sending your clients a payment link is the most flexible way for you to be paid online.

To send a direct payment link via email:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Payments.
  3. Click Billing and Invoicing.
  4. Click New.
  5. Click Send Payment Link.
  6. Select the relevant client.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. Enter payment notes or amounts (Optional).
  9. Click Continue.
  10. Click Send.
Tip: You can also grab your direct payment link and embed it as a button on your website, or as a hyperlink in your email signature.

To grab your payment link: 

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Client Portal.
  3. Next to "Create Direct Links", click Create.
  4. Select Pay.
  5. Enter the form details.
  6. Click Get Link.
  7. Click Grab Link.
  8. Click Close.

Sending Electronic Invoices 

With online payments, clients can pay directly from a sent invoice.

To send an electronic invoice:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Payments.
  3. Click on New.
  4. Click on Invoice.
  5. Select the relevant client or Add a New Client.
  6. Enter invoice details.
  7. Click Send.

The client will receive a notification email with a "Pay" call to action. If you have enabled partial payments in your payment settings, clients can also make partial payments.

Tip: You can set up recurring payments by clicking Payments & New Recurring Payments and following the prompts. See related articles for more info.

Self-Service: Through the Client Portal

From the "Total Due" or "Payments" menus, clients can also view their outstanding payments and payment history via the Client Portal. 

To guide clients to payment options:

  1. Advise them to log into the Client Portal.
  2. Click on Total Due or Payments.
  3. Under "Unpaid", click on the relevant payment.
  4. Click Checkout.

To view the client portal as a client:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Client Portal.
  3. Click View as Demo Client.

Self-Service: Through Website Widgets

Payments can also be made from widgets on your website. 

To enable payments on your website:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Online Presence.
  3. Click Website Widgets.
  4. Under "Pop-Up Widget", click Edit/View.
  5. Check "Make Payment"
  6. Optional: In the text box, edit the call to action.
  7. Click Add To Website.
  8. Follow the steps to install.

Paying at Time of Booking

You can also collect payments at the time of booking to avoid late payments.

To require payment at the time of booking for all services:

Tip: You can also require payment at the time of booking on a case-by-case basis anytime you create a new appointment or event.
  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click My Services.
  4. Click the relevant service.
  5. Under "Price & Display at Booking", click the caret icon .
  6. Select Paid - Require to Pay at Booking.

     

     

  7. Enter the service price.
  8. At the top of the page, click Save.
