Remove a vcita Widget From Your WordPress Website

The steps to remove a vcita widget depend on how the widget was initially added. The widget could have been added via a WordPress plugin or with HTML code.
Removing a vcita Plugin
- Log into your WordPress account and navigate to your Installed Plugins
- Find the vcita widget and click on Deactivate to deactivate the active widget on your website.
- Once the plugin is deactivated, you can opt to click on Delete to remove it from the list.
- To verify the change, navigate to the page that used to display the widget
- If the widget is still displaying, it was most likely cached by your browser (Performing a hard refresh will normally resolve this issue)
Removing vcita HTML
- Log into your WordPress account and Edit your website
- Locate where the HTML was deployed on your website
- Delete the vCita HTML code
- Example: if the code was added with a custom HTML block, click the trashcan button to delete the block, removing the vCita code
- Example: if the code was added with a custom HTML block, click the trashcan button to delete the block, removing the vCita code
- The vCita widget is now removed - when ready, click Publish to push the changes to your live website
- To verify the change, navigate to the page that used to display the widget
- If the widget is still displaying, it was most likely cached by your browser (Performing a hard refresh will normally resolve this issue)
