July Product Updates: New Payment Documentation Options, Customers' Reviews and More!
Client Portal access: login with a code sent directly to your mobile device
Accessing your client portal has never been easier! Your clients can now log into their personal space to view upcoming bookings, pending payments and more personal information with a code sent directly to their mobile phone. When reaching the login page, your clients can request a one-time code for their log in. Haven’t got all of your clients’ phone numbers? Don’t sweat it! vCita will ask your client to insert their mobile number and then add it to their client card.
Quick Actions: vCita’s best features at the tip of your fingers
Check out this new shortcut to some of vCita’s most popular features. You can access the Quick Actions button from the main menu on any page of the app. The button can also be found in the composer line of your inbox on desktop and mobile.
Reviews: Collect feedback from customers and share it with the world
Use vCita to collect feedback from your clients: You can use this ready-made template to send feedback requests to customers and find out what they have to say about your service. Each client’s feedback will be sent directly to your inbox, and the star rating can easily be viewed from the client card list. You can even use rating as a filter and tag groups by the rating they have given your business.
Advanced: Automatically ask your customers to share positive reviews online:
When a client submits their feedback, it’ll only be visible to you within your vCita account. Feel like sharing the good reviews with the world? We’ve got you covered! Use this automated campaign to send a follow-up email to each client who has given you a good review (we recommend enabling this option for 4-5 star reviews only).
By enabling this campaign, you’ll send a personal Thank You Note to each client who provides positive feedback, and encourage them to post another positive review on your social media profile.

Show me the money: New Payment Options
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve collected payment-related requests from vCita’s user group on Facebook and worked on improving payment record options:
- When recording a payment, you can now record invoiced-items that don’t appear in your service menu.
- We know you like your records clean and crisp. Need to backdate a recorded payment? No problem, just use this new field:
- A new filter was added on the right-hand side of your Payment screen, so you can now easily sort payments by date
