Sending & scheduling announcements
Announcements are best used when sent to a list or group of clients that you have defined as right for your marketing efforts.
For example: Target clients with specific interests or needs, or even those you know are interested in hearing about promotions.
Here’s how:
Step 1: Click Send on the Announcements page to go through the delivery process step-by-step.
Step 2: Select the delivery channel: Email or Text Message, and complete the other settings on the Send page.
Step 3: You’ll be asked to choose your recipients. You can search and select recipients by name from there, or filter for tags and client groups.
Step 4: Once you’ve selected your recipients click Continue and choose your delivery option:
Send now: The Announcement sends when you click Send now.
Schedule for later: Allows you to specify a future date and time for sending the Announcement. Choose a date and time for delivery and click Schedule Now.
Managing Your Announcements
Clicking in the row of an Announcement opens a list of options that let you perform various actions on the Announcement.
The options are:
- Edit: Opens the Edit Announcement page, where you can update the content and look of the Announcement. This option appears only for Announcements that have already been sent.
- Send test email/sms: Enables you to test the Announcement by sending it to yourself.
- View online: Allows you to view the Announcement message in a webpage.
- Delete: Removes the Announcement from your set of Announcements.
- Clone: Creates a new Announcement with identical settings of an existing Announcement. This option is useful when you want to have multiple similar Announcements (e.g. for different holidays).
- Announcement Settings: Opens a popup where you can change the name of the Announcement. The name can contain up to 250 characters.
Clicking the links in the Email template section of the popup opens the Business Info settings page, where you can update the logo that appears at the top of your emails and/or update the address that is displayed at the bottom of your emails.
Viewing Scheduled Deliveries
The Scheduled Deliveries tab of the Announcements menu lists all the Announcements that you have scheduled for future delivery. General information, such as scheduled delivery time and the number of targeted recipients, is provided for each Announcement.

- Change Time: Opens a popup that allows you to change the delivery date and/or time.
- Cancel: Removes the Announcement from the list of scheduled deliveries.
- View online: Allows you to view the Announcement message in a webpage.
