How to block specific dates and times on vCita

If you need to set aside a certain time/date, or range of days, to be unavailable in vCita, you have two options: You can either mark time as busy directly on your vCita Calendar, or you can block time on your synced calendar. (Click here to learn more about vCita's calendar sync options.)

Option 1: 

  1. Click Calendar from your vCita menu

  2. Choose New at the top of the screen
  3. Select Busy time

  4. Enter your desired Title, Start Time, End Time and Notes
  5. Click Save to update your calendarmark_as_busy.jpg

Option 2: 

  1. Place your mouse cursor on the desired start time, and hold down the left button
  2. Drag your mouse cursor to the desired end time, and then release the left button
  3. After you release the mouse cursor, you will see two options. Click Mark as Busy

  4. Enter your  desired Title, Start Time, End Time and Notes as pictured in Option 1
  5. Click Save to update your calendar
