vcita is not a payment processor and therefore we do not handle payouts or bank deposits. We also do not charge transaction fees. We funnel online payments through three payment gateways: Square, Stripe, and PayPal.
vcita does not process client payments, handle any of the funds, or determine when funds will be paid out. This is handled by the Payment Gateway you connect to.
Stripe and Square
On newly created Stripe and Square accounts, payments normally take 5 to 7 business days to directly deposit into your bank account.
Note: vcita has no control over this duration, but this duration will likely reduce after the account becomes more established.
Stripe has recently updated their payout policy and schedule due to the affect COVID-19 is having on businesses.
Due to the increased number of refunds and chargebacks that small businesses are experiencing, Stripe may slow their payout schedule on an account or set aside a portion of their account balance for potential refunds and chargebacks.

If you have not received your payout after 7 business days, we recommend you contact Stripe or Square for further assistance.
If you are using PayPal as your payment gateway, be sure that you have entered the correct PayPal email address in the Payments Settings of your vCita account .
Please Note: Payments are normally transferred to your PayPal account immediately upon payment from a client, but to transfer funds to your bank account, you will need to initiate a transfer from your PayPal account.
