What does the "source" mean when I pull a report?

Report Sources

vCita offers you a reporting dashboard that allows you to export your client data, as well as information related to your appointments. One of the data points included in the report is the Source of the engagement or client. This article will explain what each source means.

Website Sources

  • LiveSite Widget: The engagement originated from the menu presented inside the LiveSite Widget (the circular buttons displayed when using the Inline Actions mode)
  • LiveSite Widget Main Action: The engagement originated from the primary action on the LiveSite Invite
  • LiveSite Widget  Menu: The engagement originated from the LiveSite Floating menu (the circular buttons displayed when using the Floating Actions mode)
  • Scheduling Button: The engagement originated from a scheduling button on your website
  • Contact Form: The engagement originated from the vCita Contact Form Widget 
  • Direct Link: The engagement originated from a direct link 
  • Scheduling Calendar: The engagement orginated from the vCita Scheduling Calendar Widget
  • Profile Page: The engagement originated from your vCita Public Profile page
  • LiveSite: The engagement originated from the menu available in the returning client portal

BackOffice Sources: 

  • Import: The client was imported from a CSV spreadsheet
  • Google Contacts: The client was imported from Google contacts
  • Email Campaign: The client contacted you via an email campaign sent from your vCita account
  • Added Internally: The client was created from within your vCita account manually
