How can I display multiple scheduling calendar widgets on my website?

Instead of a having a button for scheduling, you can display your "services menu" or your calendar within any page of  your website. So you can create your own page, explaining your offering and the scheduling process, and have clients schedule the time or service - right on that page.

To set it up, go to your vCita Dashboard and click on Publish tab
On the left select Links and buttonss.

Step 1: Create the service menu or the calendar link

If you wish to display your "services menu" on your website you should:

  • Select Send an action link to clients Under What would you like to do?
  • Under Choose an action select Schedule appointment
  • Copy the link and continue to Step 2

If you wish to display the calendar for a specific service (skip the "service menu") you should:

  • Select Send an action link to clients Under What would you like to do?
  • Under Choose an action select Schedule appointment
  • From the Service drop-down, select the service you wish to display, and you can also choose a specific staff member that can provide that service.
  • Copy the link and continue to Step 2

Step 2: Paste the link copied form your vCita account in the code below instead of the text "Scheduling link

<iframe src="Scheduling link" style="border:0px #FFFFFF none;" name="myiFrame" scrolling="no" frameborder="1" marginheight="0px" marginwidth="0px" height="700px" width="700px"></iframe>

Step 3: Copy the code above and add it on your website.
You may want to change the width and height parameters to better fit your web page.

If you are using Wordpress you should use a plugin that will allow you to add iFrame code to your webpages.
You can install and activate the following WordPress plugin.
The plugin will be added to your WP admin panel, click on it and select HTML Snippets.
Click on Add New HTML Snippet, enter a title and paste the iFrame code above.
Click on Create.
Next, edit the page to which you wish to add the code. Click on the HTML Snippets button and select the HTML snippet you've created.
Preview and save.
