Add a vCita Contact Form Widget to a Jimdo website

Our vCita Contact Form Widget can be deployed to any website using the full HTML code. This article will go over how to deploy the widget to your Jimdo website.

Please Note: Several website builders require a paid subscription to add plug-ins, edit the html, and\or edit the header or footer of the website's theme. For example, in order to edit the html on your Jimdo website, be sure to select The editor for coding experts when creating your website.

How to find your HTML Code

To deploy the vCita Contact Widget using HTML code to your Jimdo website, you will first need to get the HTML code from your vCita.

Here are the steps to do so:

  1. From your vCita dashboard, navigate to Online Presence > Website Widgets
    • This section contains all the widgets available for you to integrate with your website
  2. Under Additional Widgets, click on "Add To Website" found next to the Contact Form option mceclip0.png
  3. The Where is your Website? window will open
  4. Select Other Websites (HTML) found at the bottom of the list
  5. Highlight and copy all of the code in the boxmceclip0.png

You've now copied the HTML code needed to add the widget to your Jimdo website.

 

How to Deploy to Jimdo

Now that you have your HTML code, you are ready to deploy the widget to your website on Jimdo!

Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Navigate to your Jimdo website and open the website builder
  2. Hover over any section of the website and select the Add Element button that appears

  3. Select More Elements and Add-on to expand the menu that appears

  4. Under the More Elements section, select </> Widgets / HTML

  5. Paste the copied HTML Code into the HTML text box and click on Save

  6. The Jimdo website builder will automatically publish your changes
  7. Open your website and the widget should now be displaying
