Add the vCita Sidebar Widget to a Typepad Website

Our Sidebar Widget can be deployed to any website using the full HTML code. This article will go over how to deploy the sidebar widget to your Typepad website.
Please Note: Several website builders require a paid subscription to add plug-ins, edit the html, and\or edit the header or footer of the website's theme.

How to find your HTML Code
To deploy the Sidebar Widget using HTML code to your Typepad website, you will first need to get the HTML code from your vCita.
Here are the steps to do so:
- From your vCita dashboard, navigate to Online Presence > Website Widgets
- This section contains all the widgets available for you to integrate with your website
- Click on the "Add To Website" button, under the Sidebar Widget option
- The Where is your Website? window will open
- Select Other Websites (HTML) found at the bottom of the list
- Highlight and copy all of the code in the box
You've now copied the HTML code needed to add the widget to your Typepad website.
How to Deploy to Typepad
Now that you have your HTML code, you are ready to deploy the widget to your website on Typepad
Here are the steps to do so:
- Navigate to your Typepad website and open the Website Builder
- Select the Design tab
- Click on Content on the left sidebar
- Under the Categories column, select Widgets
- Under the Modules column, select Embed your own HTML
- Under the Details column, click on Add this module
- Add a descriptive title for the widget to the Label field
- Paste the copied HTML Code into the HTML text box
- Click on OK
- Now, the widget is ready to be deployed - just click Save Changes
- Open your website and the widget should now be displaying
